Greg received his Bachelor of Science in Construction Management at Washington State University and his Master of Science from the University of Washington. In his capacity as a professional engineer, Greg serves the citizens of Washington State at the Department of Transportation (WSDOT). Furthermore, in his career with WSDOT, Greg has always committed himself to mentoring and developing future leaders.

In 2009, Greg began his non-profit career with election to the board of the newly founded WSDOT Memorial Foundation. In his role with the foundation, Greg eagerly embraced the mission to remember and memorialize fallen WSDOT workers and meet the ongoing need to assist workers and their families in times of need. His service for the foundation includes the roles of Scholarship Chair, Vice President and President. Currently, Greg serves in an Emeritus capacity. In this role, Greg now focuses his efforts on helping his co-workers experiencing trauma through Peer Support programs and Critical Incident Stress Management.

Moved by the global refugee crisis, Greg and his wife Mary decided to act locally. As a result, in 2017, ImRoads was born with the specific mission to assist immigrants, refugees and asylees through career coaching and counseling. This new organization, in addition to his life experiences and work, capture Greg’s mission and passion in life…to truly love your neighbor.
